Who We Are

The Mines Career Center focuses on helping students in their career development including supporting graduate school pathways, internships, co-ops, and full time position job searching, career exploration, and general career and professional planning. From planning and executing Career Day events, to workshops focused on improving resumes, cover letters, and more, the Career Center strives to help students find opportunities to continue growing their career readiness skills.

 

Supporting the Career Center often includes joining in Industry Panels, Company Information Sessions, serving as a guest in our CSM 250: Engineering Your Career Path course, as well as many other opportunities to interact with current students. 

What We Do

The Career Center's daily operations include managing DiggerNet, a Mines-specific job search resources, workshops for current students, one-on-one advising for students to help with any career or internship search needs, and building industry and employer partnerships, just to name a few. 

 

The major events the Career Center prepares are the Fall and Spring Career Days, Employer Information Sessions, Industry Panels, and career development workshops.
