Explore Mines

Explore Mines is an event for accepted high school seniors. We invite alumni to talk to our accepted students and their guests during lunch at Mines Market. Some things to keep in mind: • Please plan to arrive on campus between 12 noon and 12:15 p.m. at the entrance to Mines Market to get organized and in place before the first wave of guests arrives. • Parking is free on weekends in any campus lot. • We will provide you with a nametag and a voucher for a complimentary lunch. • We ask that you wear your Mines gear (shirt, hoodie, jacket) and your hard hat if you still have it. If you don’t, please let me know so I can bring one for you. Common questions you might hear: What was your favorite class? What was your hardest class? What did you do when you weren’t in class? What activities were you involved in? What did you major in? . . . and probably most importantly, why did you choose to go to Mines?
