Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) Interest Group promotes the culture of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the greater Mines community of alumni, current students, faculty and friends. 

We address this through:

1. Enabling Mines alumni in their own careers and through providing a forum for them to contribute time or talent to assist or mentor others
2. Supporting formal and informal E&I efforts at Mines by connecting them to seasoned alumni. This includes supporting the McNeil Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Venture Center, the Labriola Innovation Hub, E&I student groups, startups, E&I-related curriculum and more.

The Mines Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) Interest Group host a yearly E&I Showcase that highlights the successes of Mines alumni, students, faculty, and staff in the E&I space. This showcase is held in spring of each year, and all are invited to attend. The E&I Interest Group also supports a number of campus opportunities and events.
